Flower Show 2009 

 North Kessock Flower Show - Saturday 8th August 2009

This was a bumper year!    There was a magnificent display of Flowers, Fruit, Vegetables and Baking, and with over 350 entries, all Sections and categories were well represented, including the Children's Section where entries were up on last year.

 The Show opened to the public at 2pm, and around 120 people came to browse and admire the exhibits, and to enjoy a cup of tea and a chat with friends and neighbours.     The Cups all went to local people, and after the prizegiving, all donated produce was sold in a fun auction, conducted by George Tait from Dingwall Marts, to raise funds for the maintenance of the village hall.

All agreed this was a very pleasant, sociable "village" day.
