Dear Sir or Madam,

Do you have any information about George Moss who was a Ceol Mor authority. I would be very interested in anything you might know about him. I believe he was living in Kessock but he died around 1986-1990 I think.

I used to teach piping in the North Skye schools, so you will understand my interest. He was one of only a few who knew the old style of playing.

Regards,
Ronald Monk

I have traced my family back to this area in the late 1790's to late 1800's. Could you tell me if there is a local cemetry near Croftnacreich or Charleston?

The family lived for many decades at Croftnacreich. John Campbell (b aprx 1789)who married Annie McDonald. Both born in this area.
Their son Donald Campbell and wife Sarah were Inn Keepers at Charleston Inn during the 1881 census.
John Campbells father Alexander and Alexanders wife Helen MacEntosh may have also been from this area but cannot seem to find much info on them.

I was curious as to whether there may be any descendants of these couples still in the area? Maybe a long shot!
Would love to hear from anyone who may be able to help. Thanks

Christine

Linda McCreight
Does anyone know what has happened to Linda McCreight (nee Farrell) formerly of Bellfield Road in North Kessock? I am a distant relative. My wife and I are worried she may have died, but are hopeful someone perhaps knows where she has moved to?

Many thanks,

Michael
